Sedona Vortex Sites CD Release Party -- Dec. 18, 8 p.m. CD Release Party at Casa Rincon. The first 25 people will receive a complimentary copy of the new CD, Sedona Vortex Sites. Meet the creators for the CD (producer, director, sound engineer, and Suzanne McMillan-McTavish’s son, Vincent Charles) as well as staff of the Sedona Heart Center and Vortex Tours. Hors d’oeuvres and refreshments will be served. Stay and dance from 9-midnight as Prescott’s Cash Daily Band plays classic rock, hot blues and cool country. Christmas Cheer -- Dec. 19, 3 p.m. Triple T dance group will present a holiday show for the general public at the Civic Center, 805 N. Main St., Cottonwood. This is a benefit performance for the continued renovation of the historic Civic Center. Free, but donations gratefully accepted.

Jim Buchanan and Friends Christmas Concert -- Dec. 19, 3 p.m. Jim Buchanan will be giving a Christmas Concert at Christ Lutheran Church in Sedona. Special guests are harpist Laurie Riley and vocalist Katherine LaTorraca. Both traditional and secular music will be performed. An offering will be taken to benefit the artists and the music program at Christ Lutheran. Refreshments will be served. Call 282-1022 for details.

Happy Holidays! -- Dec. 19, 3 p.m. The Verde Valley Voices, about 100 strong, will present its annual Christmas Concert entitled Happy Holidays! at Verde Baptist Church on South Willard Street, next to the hospital. Tickets for $5 each and are available at the door, from choir members, and at local locations to be announced. The Cottonwood Community Band will also be included.
