James F. and Dinah Moore Gemmill celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary with family and friends on Feb. 22. Jim and Dinah were graduates of Mingus Union High School, and are pictured here as Homecoming King and Queen in 1959. Married in 1963, the Gemmills have two children and four grandchildren. Their son, Darren, and his wife Candy, have two sons, Bradley and Brandon. Their daughter Gayle (Mabery) and her husband Scott have two daughters, Bailey and Morgan. Dinah retired as a teacher from the Cottonwood-Oak Creek School District, and Jim retired from the Clarkdale-Jerome School District. The Gemmills are volunteers in a number of community organizations (including Relay For Life) and are active members of the St. Thomas Episcopal Church. They make the most of their retirement and enjoy traveling, RVing, 4-wheeling, quad riding, spending time on the Dolores River in Colorado and spoiling their grandchildren.
