Impaired drivers, listen up

COTTONWOOD -- Cottonwood Police continue their DUI enforcement throughout the weekend.

The agency received a grant from the Arizona Governor's Office of Highway Safety to pay overtime hours for officers who focus specifically on drunk and drugged driving. The goal is also to increase awareness of the problems and dangers DUI alcohol and DUI drugs.

The patrol is part of the Tri-City DUI Task Force. The Cottonwood Police Department, along with other law enforcement agencies in Yavapai County, takes pride in keeping our roadways safe.
