Letter: Why the doctor is out

I would like to thank each and every one of my patients for allowing me to be your primary health care provider over the last several years at Camp Verde Family Health, now Family Healthcare Providers of Northern Arizona.

I would also like to thank the many specialists, too numerous to list by name, who have assisted me in providing you with your needed medical care. I could not have taken care of you without their expertise and support. The Verde Valley and our surrounding communities are blessed with many excellent physician specialists who provide excellence in specialty care and support primary care.

Finally, I would like to thank Verde Valley Medical Center's physicians and staff for caring for you when your health care needs required ER visits or hospitalizations. The staff and physicians at VVMC are some of the best.

As many of you know, I have lived in the Verde Valley for most of my life and know many of you both personally and professionally. This has made my job even more rewarding. I have a passion for health care and have always striven to deliver the best possible medical care to my patients, while truly caring about their well-being.

It is with sadness that I inform you that I am leaving Family Health Providers and want you to know it was a very difficult decision and one I did not want to have to make. My decision to leave was ultimately, the result of an inability to reach a mutually acceptable contractual agreement with Verde Valley Medical Center.

My partner, Elaine Nissen, FNP-BC, and our office staff are here, VVMC is actively searching for a replacement and your healthcare needs will continue to be met.

Again, I want to thank all of you for allowing me be your provider. I have warm and sometimes funny memories and many of you have positively impacted my life. I will be remaining in Camp Verde and will be caring for patients in a different capacity. I will still see you in the community.

Delyte Nasch, FNP-BC
