Yavapai County School Superintendent Tim Carter has announced a vacancy on the Valley Academy of Career and Technology Education JTED Governing Board, representing the residents of the Camp Verde School District.
The opening was created by the fact that no qualified candidate filed for the open position during the 2012 election process.

Candidates may include letters of recommendation or support if they wish.
To be eligible to hold this seat a person must; be a registered voter, be a citizen of the United States of America, be at least 18 years of age, possess their civil rights, have continually resided within the school district for at least one year immediately preceding taking office, and they or their spouse can not be employed by the district.
Deadline for receipt of letters of interest and resumes is Friday, Nov. 16, 2012, at 5 p.m.
Carter will interview finalists in the Camp Verde School District on Tuesday, Nov. 20. The appointment should be announced by Monday, Nov. 26, and be valid beginning Jan. 1, 2013, through Dec. 31, 2014.
