Bourdon named Yavapai County administrator



The Yavapai County Board of Supervisors appointed Phil Bourdon as County Administrator effective Jan. 22.

Bourdon has worked for Yavapai County as a Civil Engineer for 16 years. He was appointed to the position of Public Works Director in August 2005. In April 2010, the Board of Supervisors appointed Bourdon as the County Engineer, which served as an umbrella over Public Works, Development Services, Fleet Management and Flood Control.

In July 2012, the Board appointed Bourdon as Interim County Administrator.
