College Graduate: Cassandra M. (Spleiss) Redmon

On May 17, Cassandra Margaret (Spleiss) Redmon of Camp Verde was one of 146 students to graduate from Sterling College located in Sterling, Kansas. Redmon received a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science: Secondary Education with the honors of cum laude and Kelsey Scholar. She is the daughter of Scott and Kelli Spleiss.

Graduation honors of summa cum laude, magna cum laude, or cum laude are awarded to students who have a minimum of 60 residential credit hours earned by the end of interterm 2014, as well as the grade point average criteria as identified in the Academic Catalog. Students must earn a minimum 3.90 GPA for summa cum laude, 3.70-3.89 GPA for magna cum laude, and 3.50-3.69 GPA for cum laude.

Kelsey Scholars are full-time students with at least two semesters in residence at Sterling College who have successfully completed their courses with a 3.5 cumulative grade point average or above at the end of spring semester 2013.
