Fiscal Year 2016 Budget on Beaver Creek School District Agenda

Board could amend Intergovernmental Agreement with Yavapai County Educational Technology Consortium

BEAVER CREEK - At Monday's monthly meeting, the Beaver Creek School Board will discuss and possibly approve the district's fiscal year 2016 agenda.

The board will also discuss an amended Intergovernmental Agreement with Yavapai County Educational Technology Consortium. This request gives authorization for Yavapai County Education Service Agency to process excess expenditures within subsections of the budget for the fiscal year 2015-2016.

This annual request allows the adjustments to be made within the total Maintenance and Operations Budget. The district will not exceed the total budget limit.

Other items on the board's agenda include:

-Second Reading of Policy JFB Open Enrollment - the district has reviewed the policies of open enrollment to include program capacity (i.e. special education and English language learner) as well as behavioral requirements and classroom capacity. Changes will be discussed at the board meeting with a final second reading and legal counsel. This will allow for open enrollment families to complete a new packet before next school year.

-Beaver Creek School District requests approval to enter into a contract to purchase the following educational services from Yavapai County School Superintendent office for 2015-2016- Annual Nursing fee for $825.00

The public is encouraged to attend the July 13 meeting, which will be held at 6 p.m. at Beaver Creek School, located at 4810 E. Beaver Creek Road in Rimrock. Before the 6 p.m. meeting, the board will meet at 5:30 p.m. for an executive session review of student discipline proceeding, pursuant to Arizona State Statute 15-843.
