Paine to bring more rain through Friday

COTTONWOOD - Remnants of Tropical Storm Paine will stick around the Verde Valley until Friday, according to meteorologist Mark Stubblefield from the National Weather Service.

The area can expect scattered light to moderate rain for the next few days, accumulating up to a third of an inch.

The former hurricane has given a swath of moisture across Yavapai and Coconino Counties, according to NWS.
