Last Friday of the Month at the Clemenceau Museum Oct. 26 the Clemenceau Museum will present Faye Johnson and Betty Gaudy speaking on “Growing up in the Great Depression, the Dust Bowl and World War ll.” Gaudy grew up in Washington State, while Johnson grew up in Colorado along the Kansas-Oklahoma border, right in the heart of the dust bowl. In the 1940’s when Faye’s husband Don was drafted, Faye worked for the Defense Air research in what was considered “men only” jobs. This is a free presentation to the public.The presentation will be held at the Museum located at 1 North Willard in Cottonwood.
