Early Settlers Day in Cottonwood Oct. 6Early Settler’s Day is a free event for the public and fun for the whole family at Clemenceau Heritage Museum. This year along with the Old Time Fiddlers there will be a little bluegrass. The High Desert Kickers will be performing throughout the day. Branding, a petting zoo, homemade ice cream, quilting, weaving, beading, woodcarving, these are just a few of the activities. Don’t forget to visit the train room, and the gift shop now has post cards of Cottonwood for sale. Free activities from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the corner of Mingus Avenue and Willard.
