The Beaver Creek Kiwanis held a community dinner on Thursday evening, February 7, with a menu of chili and pie. Held at the Montezuma-Rimrock Fire Station, the dinner was prepared and served by Kiwanis members including those in the Key Club, the Kiwanis high school student group, as well as Builder and K Club, which are comprised of middle school and elementary age participants. The event also served as a fundraiser for the Montezuma-Rimrock Fire Department, Beaver Creek School and other community projects. The Key Club was raising money specifically for Relay For Life, the cancer research fundraiser held nationally in communities throughout the country each year.
