Get involved in Yavapai Diaper DriveThru June 16Help meet the needs of our youngest citizens. To keep a baby healthy, it takes as many as 90 diapers per week at a cost of up to $2,000 per year. That is a substantial burden for a family living in poverty. This spring the Coalition for Compassion and Justice with the support of First Things First invites the community to help local babies and toddlers by supporting the annual Yavapai Diaper Drive, which is running now through June 16.Diapers and wipes will be distributed to organizations throughout the community that serve local families. Drop off locations include the Cottonwood Library and Faith Lutheran Church. Bins are also located at Stepping Stones Thrift Shop in Prescott Valley, Prescott Valley Library, Yavapai College campuses and elsewhere. Monetary donations can be made online at yavapiccj.org or mailed to P.O. Box 1882, Prescott AZ 86302. Make checks out to CCJ and make sure “Diaper Drive” is noted.
