Gourmet sweet pickles from Lynne Sweitzer’s secret family recipe and all kinds of pies will be available for sale at the Hance House on Saturday during Fort Verde Days, 10:30 a.m. until sold out. Homemade by the Verde Valley Questers, the pies will sell for $10 and the gourmet pickles $8. Proceeds are for a restoration project at the 1917 Hance House, which is owned by the Camp Verde Historical Society and is located at the end of Coppinger Street, next to Fort Verde’s parade ground.
