Yavapai-Apache Nation's summer youth Workforce Investment Act employees study river bugs in Verde River

CAMP VERDE - Ever wondered what a Sowbug is? How about a Caddisfly larvae? Throw in Riffle beetle for good measure. That is what the Yavapai-Apache Nation's summer youth Workforce Investment Act (WIA) employees studied with Dr. Frederic Amalsi, a scientist from Tempe and Terry Geiselman, a water specialist who works closely with the Nation's EPA department on the Verde River next to Middle Verde.
