By 1962, the property had been polished into a Jack Snyder-designed 18-hole golf course, measuring 6,486 yards from the longest tees and featuring a par-71. It served meals from its historic Ranch House Restaurant and was eventually ringed with homes. Despite its former glory, the resort eventually fell into bankruptcy in 1972, and since that time, it’s been sold, re-sold and fell into auction more times than most care to remember.
