Fort Verde celebrates special month with proclamation, plaque

CAMP VERDE – The month of October is Fort Verde State Historic Park Month, as proclaimed by the Town of Camp Verde. And Fort Verde celebrated recently when it received the proclamation from Camp Verde Mayor Charlie German at a plaque dedication ceremony prior to the Sept. 26 Colonel’s Daughter event that crowned Alana Neary the Colonel’s Daughter.
